Waste management is one of the most important and vital issues in organizing and improving the state of the environment and creating healthy living conditions.
Meanwhile, industrial waste management is particularly sensitive due to being contaminated with chemicals or containing hazardous substances.
Considering the consumption of lubricants and engine oil in various industries and the continuous and unavoidable production of used oils, this book specifically addresses the correct and principled management of this category of waste.
Initially, the method of production and the reason for the creation of this type of waste and its chemical composition are presented, and then the hierarchy of its management is realistically discussed and evaluated, from methods of avoiding and reducing waste generation to general and modern methods of recycling and reusing this type of oil. Environmental laws and regulations related to the stages of collection, storage and transportation to the final location, which are also stages related to waste management, are described.
